Rashtriya Rajiv Gandhi Awards given

MUMBAI.A large number of Bollywood’s “A” list celebrities including veterans Hema Malini, Rakesh Roshan, Gracy Singh, Jhonny Lever and the new blood represented by Arbaaz Khan came together at a glittering function at J W Marriot, Juhu Mumbai to celebrate the birthday of Congress President Smt. On this occasion Rashtriya Rajiv Gandhi Achiever's Awards was given away to achievers in different categories for their outstanding accomplishments. The Awards have been instituted by Rashtriya Rajeev Sena under the chairmanship of its founder chairman Shri Chander Sharma The occasion was also by graced by various central and state ministers, dignitaries and eminent personalities. Mr. Harish Rawat Minister of Labour and Employment was the chief guest.

The award was given to the following dignitaries.

1. Hema Malini - Life Time Achievement Award.

2. Jhonny Lever - Best Comedian of the year.

3. Arbaaz Khan - Best debut film of the year.

4. Namrata Kabra - Best Innovative Fashion Design of the year.

5. Shiv Vilas Palace Resort - The Taj Mahal of modern day, for Architecture.

6. Rajesh Angelo - Best Computer Education Centre of the year.

7. M.M. Satish - I hate fake, for anti piracy.

8. Mr. Gul - For Social Service.

9. HDIL - for constructing low cost housing for the poor.

10. Idea - Most Innovation Advertising of the year.

11. Sunaina Roshan - Role model for fighting against cancer.

12. Bhushan Kumar - Best Audio Company of the year.

13.Mr. Kumar - Best Innovative Real Estate Concept of the year. 

14. Mr. Choksey Chairman of Gitanjali Diamonds - Best Jewellery company of the year.
